Annual Mary Allison golf outing set for July 9

The board of directors has announced the return of the Mary Allison Children’s Trust Golf Outing, scheduled for Friday, July 9 at Clover Meadows Golf Course in Cloverdale.

York Automotive Group is sponsoring the hole-in-one contest during the 16th-annual event.

Trust Patrons are Jack and Shirley Dalton, Duke Energy, Gobin Church, the Greencastle Rotary Club, HMSB Insurance, Hoosier Heartland State Bank, Donna Houser, Humphreys’ Outdoor Power, Jim Jackson, JoAnn Linn, Brent and Cozetta McColgin, Mennonite Mutual Insurance, Project Cultivate–Parker Black, Tri-County Bank and Trust, Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Wabash Capital and Walmart Distribution.

Their patronage means that 100 percent of entry fees and hole sponsorships will go directly to continue the work started by Mary Allison more than 125 years ago to serve the children of Putnam County.

The field will be capped at 18 teams this year. Almost Home will be catering a grab-and-go lunch.

Safety protocols will be in place for both players and volunteers.

The team entry fee is $220 and hole sponsorships are $50. Entry fees and/or hole sponsorships can be forwarded to Mary Allison Children’s Trust, P.O. Box 369, Greencastle IN 46135.

To donate a door prize, silent auction item or a swag bag item, persons may contact Darren Hughes, Matt Headley, Ginger Scott or Jim Jackson of the Mary Allison Golf Committee.
