County Jail

Thirteen people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Wednesday

• At 11:47 p.m. Matthew J. Finley, 39, Appleton, Wis., was booked in for theft.

• At 8:02 p.m. Jason C. Enochs, 40, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail for driving with an ACE of .15 or more.

• At 6:54 p.m. Scott J. McCord, 43, Fillmore, was housed at the jail for domestic battery.

• At 6:47 p.m. Walter M. Figueroa, 23, Indianapolis, was taken into custody for driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

• At 5:44 p.m. Alisha J. Donaldson, 29, Roachdale, was booked in for disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and public intoxication.

• At 3:42 a.m. Jessica R. Cook, 31, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail for possession of methamphetamine

Tuesday

• At 11:32 p.m. Alanna S. Tinch, 27, Cloverdale, was taken into custody for theft.

• At 6:10 p.m. Michael S. Perry, 51, Indianapolis, was housed at the jail for driving with a suspended license.

• At 1:48 p.m. Pamela A. Scott, 46, Russellville, was booked in on a local warrant.

• At 11:39 a.m. Blake T. Ross, 26, Brazil, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Monday

• At 5:48 p.m. Wren R. Miethe, 26, Fillmore, was taken into custody for battery on law enforcement, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

• At 2:56 p.m. Ryan L. Riggs, 40, Bunker Hill, was housed at the jail on a local warrant and a Johnson County warrant.

• At 10:40 a.m. Damon P. Tyson, 39, Roachdale, was booked in for domestic battery and criminal recklessness.

Sheriff’s Office

Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated one recent crash.

• At 9:11 p.m. on Tuesday, Andrea M. Moore, 37, Greencastle, was backing into a driveway at 894 S. CR 550 West in a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder.

As she backed, the vehicle struck the front of a parked farm trailer.

Deputy Hunter Gambill estimated damage at $5,000-$10,000.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to eight recent dispatches:

• At 5:18 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, GFD was dispatched to 101 N. College Ave. for a smoke alarm. Firefighters arrived at 5:19 and determined that the alarm was defective. GFD went back into service at 5:24 p.m.

• At 9:36 p.m. a week ago, GFD was dispatched to Sigma Chi on DePauw University’s campus for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 9:39 and determined the alarm had malfunctioned. The building could not be accessed and DePauw police were put on standby. GFD went back into service at 9:54 p.m.

• At 6:51 a.m. last Saturday, GFD was dispatched to the area of 1315 Albin Pond Road for glass in the roadway. Firefighters found the debris at 6:58 and cleaned it up. GFD went back into service at 7:23 a.m.

• At 1:45 p.m. last Saturday, GFD was dispatched to the apartments at 330 Greenwood Ave. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 1:47 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm was reset. GFD went back into service at 1:56 p.m.

• At 9:21 p.m. last Saturday, GFD responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 2165 S. CR 250 East. Firefighters arrived at the scene at 9:28 and assisted with patient care. GFD went back into service at 9:49 p.m.

• At 12:32 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched to 401 W. Walnut St. for a child’s arm stuck in a chair. Firefighters arrived at 12:38 and freed the child’s arm. GFD went back into service at 12:42 p.m.

• At 9:03 p.m. on Thursday, GFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at 4576 E. CR 75 North. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 9:13 to find a vehicle that had struck a power pole. Power was secured to the vehicle and the pole was replaced. GFD went back into service at 9:52 a.m.

• At 10:47 a.m. on Thursday, GFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Judson Drive. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 10:50 and cleared debris from the roadway. GFD went back into service at 11:16 a.m.

Additionally, GFD recently performed 11 medical assists and had two disregards.
