Reggie Alan Ross, 69, of rural Greencastle, peacefully went to his eternal home on June 22, 2021 surrounded by his family.

He was born on April 14, 1952 to C. Walter “Walt” Ross and Eunice (Wagner) Ross.

He was first and foremost a Christian and member of the church of Christ who loved the Bible and sharing it.

He married Beverly (Hurst) on Sept. 18, 1976, and she survives. He is also survived by his mother; daughter Leah (Clay) Henry of Greencastle, and their sons J.Walker, Alton and J.Greene; sister Valerie (Lester) Good of Kewanna; and numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

He was greeted at the pearly gates by his father and daughter Heidi.

A 1970 graduate of Caston High School, Reggie was a retired union sheet metal worker and entrepreneur. He was a member of SMWIA Local 20 and GCIU Local 17, owned and operated LeHi Stitches and Gravestone, was active in many online fishing clubs and was a member of the Greencastle “Romeo” club.

His ashes will be spread in the places he loved most — fishing spots and near Heidi’s grave in Deer Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Reggie's celebration of life will be on Tuesday, July 13 at Owl Ridge, 3333 S. U.S. 231, Greencastle. Service will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Please honor his life and your own by accepting the gift of salvation.
