The free event will focus on composting and year-end gardening tasks, host a live demonstration on incorporating cover crops into a garden system and will also feature various components of the community garden, including a tour and a children’s activity.

The event will take place outdoors on the lawn of the Community Garden. Free giveaways including pollinator and cover crop seed and educational materials will be provided, as well as a drawing for two individuals to win a free composter.

Participants are asked to dress appropriately for the weather. All ages are welcome to attend. Event hosts are requesting pre-registration for the event to assist with planning.
