John Edward Tesmer

John Edward Tesmer, 69, Bainbridge, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.

John was born in Ohio on Feb. 27, 1952, the son of Theodore and Ruth Elizabeth (Lutz) Tesmer.

He was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Tesmer attended the Bainbridge Christian Church. He worked as an office manager for many years with PQC. John volunteered his time with Gleaners, as well as helped the Two Fish Food Pantry at Bainbridge Christian Church.

Survivors include his two daughters, Shonda Brewer (husband Michael) of Mooresville and Kim Curran (husband Scott) of Coatesville; two sisters, Judy Foster (husband Charles) of Mission, Kan., and Mary Tesmer of Greencastle; six granddaughters, Madison and Morgan Brewer, and Cayman, Opry, Josie and Pippa Curran; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Noah Brewer; three brothers, Ted, Jerry and Dan Tesmer; and two sisters, Barbara Williams and June Weed.

A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, Aug. 7 at Bainbridge Christian Church with Tim Tesmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.

A burial will take place in Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery at 2 p.m. after the service Saturday.
