PCH plans Senior Health Fair Sept. 15

Thursday, August 19, 2021

Putnam County Hospital is planning the 2021 Senior Health Fair for Sept. 15 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The Putnam County Senior Health Fair is open to seniors in the community aged 62 and older.

“We are looking forward to hosting the senior health fair this year,” Director of Marketing Brooke Trissel said. “It is extremely important that we maintain a healthy environment with social distancing. We will hand masks out at the door, space the vendors out within the Community Building and provide extra hand sanitizing stations, and we will provide volunteers to ensure that part pants are moving through the building while keep space in between them.

“Safety is a priority for Putnam County Hospital, and so is helping the seniors in our community keep up to date on wellness checks and health care education.”

The doors will open at 10 a.m. and the fair will conclude at noon.

In years past a meal and bingo have been provided. Due to COVID-19, there will be no meal or bingo this year. However, each vendor will have a door/raffle prize that participants are able to win. All participants will be contacted via phone and will be able to pick up their item.

Persons interested in being part of the 2021 Senior Fair may contact Trissel at btrissel@pchosp.org or by calling 765-301-7528.
