Gloria Crystal Mayo

Gloria Crystal Mayo, 90, of Plainfield, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021.

She was born on July 24, 1931 in Belle Union to the late Harold and Geraldine McCammack.

Gloria was a waitress for 35 years at the Double Decker. She was a loving mother and a dedicated homemaker.

Gloria was a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and doing puzzles in her free time. Gloria loved spending time with her family as often as she could.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen (Debbie) and Daryl (Lavona) Mayo; daughter Teresa (Lonnie) Hassler; brother Marshall McCammack; sister Margie Zenor; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mayo, and brothers Glenn and Ronnie McCammack.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 16 at noon in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon. Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.
