Katherine S. Tarantino

Katherine S. Tarantino, 63, of Danville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 with her family by her side.

She was born Nov. 21, 1958 in Greencastle to the late Harvey and Florence “Peggy” Ford.

She was a longtime nurse and served her country in the United States Marine Corps.

Kathy was preceded in death by her son, James Albert Tarantino Jr., and her sister, Andrea Albright.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Chandler and husband Walter and Alison Troyer and husband Philip. She was a loving "Mamaw" to four grandchildren, Logan and Taylor Chandler and Avery an Andrew Troyer. Her siblings, Frances Miller and husband Bill, Krystine Albright, Richard “Rick” Ford and wife Beverly and Paul Ford, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until service time.
