Girls’ JV Tournament Champions

South Putnam’s JV girls’ basketball team won the Putnam County JV Basketball tournament Saturday morning, defeating North Putnam 44-24 in the final after the Cougars defeated Greencastle in the opening round 42-26. Members of the winning team include Joscelyn Pilcher, Lilly Emmerich, Sydney Boswell, Ariel Dooley, Summer Cohee, Madison Gardner and Lexi Phillips. The Eagles are coached by Jill Newton.
