Endeavor Monster Dash aids local hospital cancer centers
Endeavor Communications recently celebrated its continued support of the local communities it serves by donating nearly $5,000 to the Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center and Hendricks County Hospital Cancer Center.
The funding includes donations collected as part of Endeavor’s annual Monster Dash Family 5K Walk/Run. The 2021 event took place virtually and in person. All of these funds directly benefit the local cancer facilities.
In previous years, Putnam County Hospital had used the funds for new chairs for chemotherapy patients to sit in while they receive treatment, while Hendricks County Hospital used the donation for its Cancer Survivor Program.
The annual Monster Dash Family 5K Walk/Run event is organized and staffed by Endeavor Communications employee volunteers dedicated to helping raise funds for local cancer centers. The event drew walkers and runners from Putnam County and throughout the United States who either participated virtually or at the Oct. 2 event.
Events like Monster Dash wouldn’t be possible without the help of key local community organizations, including Berry It, Hendricks Power, Anytime Fitness, Coraggio Designs, HMSB Insurance, Consortia Consulting, Brad Tucker State Farm Insurance, Mulberry Telephone Cooperative, CSU Inc., Putnam Inn, Central Indiana Communications, Cloverdale Drugs, Lightstream, RMS Risk Management, York Automotive, Monon Telephone, Fraternal Order of Eagles, First National Bank and Healthies.
