Ag Day Photo Contest seeks entries

This 2020 entry by Ryan Sutherlin is the most recent winner of the Ag Day Photo Contest. With Ag Day festivities slated to return on Saturday, March 12, the Ag Day committee is again requesting photos of production agriculture taken in Putnam County to be featured during the festivities, in a special Banner Graphic edition and at the Putnam County Farm Bureau board room.

Entries are now being sought for the 2022 Putnam County Ag Day Photo Contest.

Entrants may send or drop off production agriculture photos taken in Putnam County to the Greencastle Farm Bureau office with attention to Heather Poynter by Friday, Feb. 25.

The top three winners will have their photo published in a special Banner Graphic Ag Day section and will receive a prize at the Saturday, March 12 Ag Day Breakfast at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The top 10 photos will also be framed and displayed in the Putnam County Farm Bureau board room for one year.

Color or black & white 5x7 or larger photos are accepted. On the back of each photo entered should have the name and contact number of the entrant.
