Putnam County Machinery Show to add truck/tractor pulls

The annual Putnam County Machinery Show, hosted by the Putnam County Antique Tractor and Machinery Association, is set for Saturday, May 21 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

This year, the event will not only feature the machinery show and craft fair from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., but will be followed by the Putnam County Spring Truck/Tractor Pulls beginning at 4 p.m.

Daytime events will feature antique tractors and other machinery on display, inlcuding all farm equipment, old trucks, oddities and antique equipment, as well as blacksmith demonstrations, tractor shuttle service, hay rides, llamas and food by both Hogg Wild Barbecue and the Putnam County 4-H Rabbit Club.

Admission is free for the machinery show.

Admission cost for the truck and tractor pull will be $10 per person, with kids five and younger free. All pull classes are welcome for a hook fee of $20.
