Betty B. Lancaster

Betty B. Lancaster, 78, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Born July 28, 1944, in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Clarence and Pauline (Harmon) Marshall.

She was a 1962 graduate of Greencastle High School and of Indiana Business College.

Betty retired from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where she served as secretary for 23 years. She was a member of the Sherwood Christian Church and volunteered with the Putnam County Hospital Guild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Betty is survived by her husband, John F. Lancaster; daughters Melissa Lancaster and Terri (husband Jason) Scott; grandson Cameron Scott; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Sherwood Christian Church, 600 Kirkwood Dr., Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to the Sherwood Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
