PCHPCA again offering lunch-and-learn sessions

Thursday, January 26, 2023

The Putnam County Hospice and Palliative Care Association has announced that free advance care planning lunch-and-learns will be held again in 2023.

The sessions will still take place on the second Wednesday of each month from noon-1 p.m. via Zoom.

This is the second year the PCHPCA has offered these opportunities to the community. Executive Director Elaine Peck noted that attendance last year was small, which created the opportunity for personalized learning and discussion.

“I hope that more attendees will enjoy the opportunity to have their questions about advance health care planning answered, while enjoying the comfort and convenience of meeting in their home or office,” Peck said.

The next lunch-and-learn is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8. Those interested must register by email to contact.us@pchpca.org by 5 p.m. the nights before all sessions. A Zoom invitation and instructions to access the meeting will be emailed the morning of the session.

For assistance and additional information, persons may call 765-301-7614.

The Putnam County Hospice and Palliative Care Association seeks to enhance the quality of life for the terminally ill, their loved ones and caregivers by educating the community about the benefits of hospice, palliative care and advance care planning.

The PCHPCA is a nonprofit public charity that operates with the help of donations, financial support from the Putnam County Community Foundation and fiscal sponsorship by Putnam County Hospital.
