Larry G. Truesdale

Larry G. Truesdale 73, of Plainfield, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023.

He was born Oct. 5, 1949, in Greencastle to the late Harold and Jessy (Gentry) Truesdale.

He graduated from Greencastle High School in 1967 and loved to travel the country.

For several years Larry was an OTR driver. His favorite was the mountains.

He had a constant companion and best friend, Elsie Goodin, who became his caregiver his last two years. In good times they traveled from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Grand Canyon and Minnesota to Texas.

He is survived by his loving companion and bonus kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon with the funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Burial will take place the same day at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.
