Jared Anthony Pentz

Jared Anthony Pentz, 33, of Greencastle, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Jared was born in Indianapolis on Nov. 21, 1989, the son of Thomas and Kristie (Zeiner) Pentz.

He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in Missouri. He attended college in Missouri where he studied computer science.

Mr. Pentz worked for Liberty.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He had an interest in working with metal.

Survivors include his wife of seven years, Rebecca Pentz; his stepson, Ryan Plessinger; brother Eric Pentz; sister Kayde Dunn; his grandfather, LeRoy Zeiner; his grandmother, Barbara Pentz; and two uncles, Tony Zeiner and Troy Zeiner.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandfather, Bob Pentz.

The family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
