Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia Ann Jones, 82, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Born July 5, 1940 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Willard and Hazel (Buis) Fitzsimmons. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Patricia had worked with her husband as the secretary and bookkeeper at Jones Garage. She had previously worked in housekeeping at Asbury Towers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Wayburn Fitzsimmons and Hazel Scott, husband Gary Henry Jones, daughter Sherrie Fenwick, brother Les Fitzsimmons and sister Rita Ash.

Patricia is survived by her son, Daniel (wife Becky) Jones; brothers Russ Fitzsimmons and Ted (wife Tracy) Scott; grandchildren Brandi (husband Jason) Ridgway, Jessica Jones, Anthony (wife Lindsey) Fenwick, Andrew Fenwick, Acacia Reed and Shelby (wife Courtney) Reed; and great-grandchildren Justice, Taylor, Arianna, June, Raegan, Molly, Eve, Bentley and Tyson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
