Hope Haven has new horse therapy session

Friday, June 8, 2007

Hope Haven Horse Farm is using horses in a new way -- Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). This "new, cutting-edge therapy" will be demonstrated during an Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) seminar on the horse farm. It will be free and open to the public.

The next session will run on Thursday, June 14 from 10 a.m. until noon.

During the seminar, the certified EAGALA staff at Hope Haven will demonstrate how EAGALA programs may open doors to building better relationships, communication, and self esteem in the work place or in the home setting.

Hope Haven welcomes group or individuals interested in exploring new concepts in behavioral or problem-solving skills.

Attendees are urged to wear long pants and sturdy boots or tennis shoes. Refreshments will be served during the seminar.

Hope Haven Horse Farm is located 30 minutes west of Indianapolis on the south side of U.S. Highway 40, one mile west of Stilesville.
