Dawn Marie Arthur Leslie, 43, Darlington, died Friday at St. Clare Medical Center.

Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of James F. Arther and Fern Herrington.

A 1982 graduate of North Montgomery High School, she also graduated from Ivy Tech in 2000. She worked for Williamsburg Nursing Home. Prior to working in nursing, she worked several years at Pizza Hut.

She attended Sunlight Wesleyan Church.

She married William Lee Leslie on Feb. 13, 1982. He survives.

Additional survivors include her father; mother and stepfather Larry Herrington, Georgia; sons Billy Leslie, Alamo, Dustin Leslie, Veedersburg, Joseph Leslie, Darlington, and Christopher Leslie, Darlington; sister Karla Joyce, Mace; halfbrother William Bryant and wife Cheryl, Waynetown; five grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her stepmother Rosalie Arthur.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. Cremation will follow services.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
