Wilma J. Harris, 79, Greencastle, died Saturday.

Born in Greencastle, she was the daughter of William and Lucy (Vanhook) Hold.

A lifelong resident of Greencastle, she was a graduate of Greencastle High School and an active member of First Baptist Church, a member of Order of Eastern Star and the Democrat Women's Club.

She married Walter Bryan, who preceded her in death in 1961. Her second husband, Kenneth W. Harris, died in 2001.

Surviving are two sons, Doug Bryan and wife JoAnn, Fillmore, and Alan Bryan and wife Barbara, Greencastle; a daughter, Debra Gause and husband Steve, Ventura, Calif.; stepchildren Doretta Poynter and husband Bill, Greencastle, Larry Harris and Richard Lisner, both of Cincinnati, and Tonya Sears and husband Michael, Greencastle; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Greencastle, with Rev. Paul Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
