Doris Elaine Moore

Doris Elaine Poole Moore, 80, Frankfort, formerly of Putnam County, died Tuesday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

A native of Franklin County, Ky., she was retired from Kentucky State government as an administrative assistant for the departments of welfare, education and the attorney general. She was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church and the Hope Sunday School class.

Surviving are her husband E. Ray Moore; son Michael Ray Moore, Bowling Green, Ky., and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Flora (Kring) Moore; brother Harold Felix Poole, stepbrother Melvin F. Moore, and stepmother Nora Simpson Poole.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Crestwood Baptist Church, Kentucky, with Rev. Michael Moore, Bill Bokely and Ira Linville officiating. Visitation is set for 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel, Frankfort, Ky.
