Goldia Baker, 90, Bainbridge, died Sunday.

Born in Pulaski County, Ky., she was the daughter of Andy and Ruth (Muncy) Gooch.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ, a cook at the Bon Ton and Y-Palace, and had been a housekeeper for several community residents.

She married Gilson Harold "Fat" Baker, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Delbert Smith and wife Charlotte, Marshall, Ill., Thomas Baker and wife Jean, Greencastle, and Mary Ruth Dagenhart, Bainbridge; two sisters, Beulah Pound, Fairbanks, and Rebecca Kirkpatrick, Milford, Ohio; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers William Gooch and Hassel Gooch, and grandson Jared Allen Smith.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bainbridge Cemetery with Rev. Rusty Anderson officiating.
