Leona Kenesson, 91, Greencastle, died Sunday morning at Asbury Towers Retirement Home.

Born in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Lawrence Theodore "Ted" and Florence Snider.

She married Frank Kenesson in 1939. He died in 1985.

The couple resided in the Detroit area, Philadelphia, New York, and Georgia. She was a homemaker, lifetime member of P.E.O. and was also a member of the Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son Frank Kenesson Jr., Waterford, Va.; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorial services are set for 4 p.m. on Sunday at Asbury Towers. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Chandler-Hays Funeral Home, Greencastle.
