Micky Logan Vance, 18, Roachdale, died Monday evening at his residence.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Donald R. Vance and Rebecca L. (Poe) Vance.

He was a senior at North Putnam High School, a member of Antioch Baptist Church, an avid motorcycle rider and played guitar.

Surviving are his parents; brothers Michael Vance, Roachdale, and Jonas Vance and companion Shirley Hensley, Greencastle; sister Tina Vance-Bell and husband Jeff, Danville; grandmother Daythel Poe, Cloverdale, three nephews, two nieces and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald R. and Ivy W. (Harper) Vance, Charles A. Poe, and Haskle Rice.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Alan Small officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
