Eva St. Clair, 91, Greencastle, died Tuesday at Putnam County Hospital.

Born in Orange County, Ind., she was the daughter of James Edward and Martha Ellen (Kearby) Stout. She was a 1935 graduate of Orleans High School.

She married E.B. St. Clair on Dec. 21, 1961. He preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1984.

She was a homemaker and worked at the Angwell curtain factory from 1959-63. She was a member of the Gobin United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Ann Frazier and husband John, Greencastle; a sister, Orpha Myers and husband Robert, Terre Haute; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Arthur Stout, Roy Stout, Andrew Stout and Orville Stout; and three sisters, Blanche Thompson, Alta Merry and Annabel Raper.

Services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is10 a.m. until services Friday at the funeral home.
