Elizabeth A. Kissel, 76, Princeton, died Thursday at Methodist Hospital.

Born in Princeton, she was the daughter of Ambrose and Cecilia (Schutte) O"Connell.

She was a life member of the Daughters of Isabella, Associates Sister of St. Frances, Cinderella Home Extension Club, and award winner of the Catholic Brute" Award in 2003 of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She married Earl S. Kissel, who preceded her in death in 1980.

Surviving are a daughter, Marie Kissel, Shanghi, China; three sons, Dr. Steve Kissel and wife Janna, Greencastle, Joe Kissel, Princeton, and Jeff Kissel and wife Mary Jane, Washington, D.C.; a sister, Catherine Weber, Haubstadt; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Timothy.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton with Fr. Bernie Etienne officiating.

Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 N. Main St., Princeton.

Daughters of Isabella prayer service and rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
