Wayne Leon Froderman, 71, Brazil, died Friday at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.

Born in Ashboro, Ind., he was the son of the late Richard Wayne and Ethel Tucker Froderman. He married Mary Ann Tribble on Aug. 14, 1965 in Brazil, and she survives.

A 1952 graduate of Brazil High School, he attended two years at Indiana State University. From 1952-74, he was self-employed as a truck driver and from 1974-93 he worked as a sales representative for Mechanics Laundry.

He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, Brazil, Knights of Columbus third and fourth degree, Fraternal Order of Eagles, BPO Elks, Moose Lodge, and the John Birch Society.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Mary Adrienne Davies and husband Dwight, Terre Haute; three sons, Richard Froderman and wife Lori, Pasadena, Md., Douglas Wayne Froderman and wife Melissa, Brazil, and John Joseph Froderman and wife Tonja, Greencastle; two sisters, Mary Alice Wells, Brazil, and Doris Sackley and husband Paul, Rockford, Ill.; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and special friends Otis, Lucy and Ellie Mac.

Funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Brazil, with burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home, Brazil, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
