Sadie R. Sheehy, 90, Indianapolis, formerly of Cloverdale, died Friday at Community East Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of George and Della (Dove) Morgan.

She married Thomas J. Sheehy on June 4, 1943. He preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 1977.

She was a 1932 graduate of Ben Davis High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Cloverdale United Methodist Church, a former member of Lynhurst Baptist Church, and was instrumental in the start-up of the Cloverdale Little League as its first scorekeeper.

Survivors include daughter Marylyn Paul, Westfield; sons retired Col. Thomas J. Sheehy II and wife Michalene, Fairfax, Va., Edwin R. McIntosh and wife Sherrie, Magnolia, Ky., and Stanton P. McIntosh, Chicago; sisters Maye Wood, Indianapolis, Faye Gramse, Chicago Heights, Ill.; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Freda Clearwater and Mary Virginia Jones; and brothers Paul Morgan, George T. Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Harold Morgan and infant twin brothers.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be at Cloverdale Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
