Lucy V. (Hall) Lane, 89, Plainfield, formerly of Greencastle, died on Friday at her residence.

Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late John and Maude (Pace) Hall. She worked for Duke Energy (PSI) for 30 years.

Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Lane; a daughter, Mary Lou Burton; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Noel E. Lane, son Donald E. Lane, Sr. and an infant granddaughter.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.

Contributions may be made to Day By Day Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
