Tracy Luan Crowe, 41, Greencastle, died Friday in a traffic accident on U.S. 231 near New Market.

Born at Greencastle, she was the daughter of Thomas Bowles and Sandra Ingram.

She had last worked as a welder at Oxford Auto-motive for five years. She had previously worked at Shenandoah in Greencastle, and Mid-State Wire in Crawfordsville.

A 1983 graduate of North Putnam High School, she was a member of Greencastle Moose Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Tyler Lee Crowe, at home; adoptive father Bill Cope, Greencastle; father Thomas Bowles, Crawfordsville; grandmother Wilma Cope, Crawfordsville; halfbrother Michael Cope, Clarks Hill; and halfsister Pam.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 1993.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with Rev. Paul Leonard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill North Cemetery, Crawfordsville.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
