Wilma Lee Hine, 92, Eminence, died Tuesday at Putnam County Hospital.

Born in Morgan County, she was the daughter of Addison Clay and Ethel Effie (Cummins) Clarkston.

A homemaker, she was a member of Eminence Christian Church.

She married Scott Cecil Hine on Jan. 25, 1934. He died Dec. 29, 1988.

Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Ann Hubbard, Clayton, Charlene Jo Hine-Brown, Petersburg, and Marilyn Sue Bond, Helmsburg; two sons, William G. Hine, Martinsville, and C. Robert Hine, Cloverdale; two sisters, Lones Hine, Martinsville, and Bernice Teverbaugh, Mooresville; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Orpha Spoon, Virginia Griffith and Marie Kays, and brothers Curtis Clarkston and Ernie Clarkston.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Rev. C. Robert Hine officiating.

Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery, Martinsville.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday.
