Summer food service program opens

The Family Youth Community Development Center, 605 Crown St., will be sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program in June and July.

Free supper and snack will be provided to all children age 18 and younger, and to persons more than age 18 who are determined by a state or local public education agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who participate in a public or nonprofit private school program established for the mentally or physically disabled.

Supper will be served at the FYCDP community center from 6-7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Snacks will be served at approximately 2 p.m. Children younger than age 18 must have a permission form signed by a parent or guardian.

The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability.
