On the road, The DePauw men's basketball team suffered an 89-83 loss at Millsaps Friday, but responded by defeating Oglethorpe Sunday, 92-77.

On Friday, Mike Moore led the Tigers with 20 points on 6-of-8 shooting, while Alex Stewart and Stephen Schott each scored 14 points.

Austin Brown added 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while Reid Sakel scored nine points.

The Tigers were tied at 39-39 at halftime, before being outscored 50-44 in the second half.

On Sunday, the Tigers had six players score in double figures. Brown led DePauw with 20 points, Schott had 14 points and Ryan Werntz and Moore scored 13.

Sakel added 12 points, while Stewart finished with 10.

DePauw outscored the Stormy Petrels 20-10 over the last seven minutes.

Schott and Matt McDonald each grabbed eight rebounds, as the Tigers outrebounded Ogelthorpe, 42-40.

DePauw hosts Southwestern Friday at 8 p.m.

The DePauw women's basketball team improved to 17-1 overall and 7-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference during the weekend, easily defeating both Millsaps and Oglethorpe.

On Friday, the Tigers defeated Millsaps, 76-47. Liz Bondi and Lindsay Houin led DePauw with 14 points each, while Kalei Lowes addded 11 points and Bridget Bailey scored 9 points.

Suzy Doughty led the Tigers with seven assists in the game, while Lowes had a game-high seven rebounds.

DePauw outrebounded the Majors 36-21.

On Sunday, the Tigers defeated Ogelthorpe, 88-60.

Bondi led DePauw with 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field, while Cassie Pruzin scored 18 points.

Bailey added 13 points and 11 rebounds. The Tigers held a major advantage on the boards, outrebounding Ogelthorpe 49-29.

DePauw hosts Southwestern Friday at 6 p.m.
