Kelsey Murtagh set a school record and both Greencastle swim teams cruised to another victory.

The girls' team won 135-45 and the boys' won 136-46 over the visiting Southmont Mounties in a make up swim meet Saturday.

Murtagh led the girls' team with two wins including her recording setting time in the 100-yard backstroke. She won the event with a time of 1:02.29 and won the 50-yard Freestyle with a time of 26.06.

The Tiger Sharks had several other winners also. Kendi Thomas won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:22.97 and Sarah Land won the diving competition with a score of 175.15. Alys Moore claimed the blue ribbon in the 100-yard freestyle event with her time of 59.28 and Morgan Terry won the grueling 500-yard freestyle in 5:41.42.

Greencastle's relay teams won all three events.

The boys' team had a handful of multiple winners as well.

Andrew Bretscher won the 200 IM and the 100 freestyle. He finished the 200 in 2:00.34 and the 100 freestyle in 48.39.

Luke Crimmins won a pair of events for the Tiger Shark as well. Crimmins won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.29 and the 100 backstroke in 1:00.17.

Gus Lidaka rounded out the multiple event winners with his wins in the 100-yard butterfly and 100 breaststroke. He finished the 100 butterfly in 1:02.50 and the 1:07.99 in the 100 breastroke.

Also winning for the Tiger sharks was Mark Jedele who won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:58.00 and Patrick Rud who claimed yet another blue ribbon in diving with a score of 244.30.

The Tiger Sharks will be back in action this week with the boys' team hosting hosting Danville and North Montgomery today starting at 6:30 p.m. and the girls' team will compete again on Tuesday when they travel to Danville for a 6 p.m. meet.
