No. 22 DPU women stay perfect in SCAC

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- On Sunday, the 22nd-ranked DePauw University women's soccer team improved to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference after picking up a 3-2 win over Rhodes.

Bridget Nicholson gave the Lynx a 1-0 lead at 33:09 before DePauw's Lauren DeSilveira tied with 25 seconds left in the first half.

Rhodes regained the lead at 64:34 on Molly Buss' goal but DeSilveir knotted the contest at 70:15 off an assist from Mary Beth Robinson.

Kristen McMahon scored the game-winner at the 72:21 mark.

The Tigers outshot Rhodes, 13-11, in the game and both teams had three corner kicks. Brooke Shipley recorded five saves in goal for the Tigers.

DePauw hosts Oglethorpe at 3 p.m. on Friday.

Next Game -- The Tigers (7-2, 2-0) face Oglethorpe at home on Friday at 3 p.m.
