The DePauw women's golf team won the Franklin College Fall Invitational Monday, turning in a two-round score of 650 to defeat the University of Southern Indiana by four strokes.

Lisa Chambers led the Tigers with a score of 160, finishing at fourth place. Kristen Kriegshauser tied for seventh place with a score of 162, while Lauren Brummett tied for ninth with a score of 163. Ali Murtaugh finished 11th for the Tigers with a 165, followed by Sarah Gates with a score of 178.

DePauw men's win

With a two-round score of 596, The DePauw men's golf team won the Rhodes Fall Preview Monday,

Jordan Voss shot a 141 to earn medalist honors, while Joey Piatek finished fifth with a 149. Josh Abrams finished seventh with a 152, followed by Brian Gooch at eighth at 154. Jay Burkhardt finished in a tie for 12th with a 159.

Tigers fall to Oglethorpe

Atlanta, GA. -- The DePauw men's soccer team dropped to 3-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and 7-4-1 in the regular season, following its 3-0 loss to Oglethorpe.

The Stormy Petrels scored one goal in the first half and two in the second

The Tigers were out shot,17-4 but held a 4-3 advantage in the corners.

John Fenley recorded three saves for the Tigers.

The Tigers host Millikin on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Women defeat Oglethorpe

ATLANTA,GA. -- The DePauw women's soccer team grabbed its fourth Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win and its seventh overall win after it defeated Oglethorpe on Saturday, bumping it into first place it the SCAC.

The tiers are now 7-5 on the season and 4-1 in the SCAC.

The Tigers won 2-0 with both goals coming in the first half. Jacki Ponder scored the first one at the 54:59 mark and Hillary Gwen scored the second goal with the assist from Mary Beth Robinson at the 66:38 mark.

DPU outshot their opponents 26-9 and held an 10-0 advantage in the corners. Brooke Shipley totaled two saves in her posting her seventh shutout of the season.

The Tigers return to action on Thursday when they travel to Wheaton for a 7 p.m. game.
