Hertel receives honor

DePauw senior defensive end Dustin Hertel has been named the Southern Athletic co-Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Depauw's 7-3 over Rhodes College.

Hertel had 12 total tackles, 10 solo tackles, three tackles for losses, and an interception. Hertel forced 18 yards for a loss, including a sack for a loss of nine yards. The interception was his first of his career.

The Tigers held Rhodes to 148 yards on offense, and a dismal quarterback rating of 39.18.
