On Saturday, the DePauw University field hockey team rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit only to see visiting Lindenwood score in the first overtime for a 2-1 win.

The Tigers dropped to 10-6 with the loss, while the Lions improved to 3-6.

Lindenwood took the lead in the first half after Crystal Thomas scored a goal off an assist from Callie Check.

But the Tigers knotted the game in the second half off a goal from Julie Brayton, who was assisted by Beth Seegers.

Check scored the game-winner in overtime for the win.

DePauw outshot Lindenwood, 22-17, and had a 9-5 advantage in corners. Kaitlin Thomure recorded 16 saves for the Tigers, while Jennica Albertson had 20 saves for the Lions.

The Tigers host the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Nov. 5-6. DePauw faces Sewanee in the second semifinal at 2 p.m., while Rhodes and Centre meet in the first semifinal at noon.
