James Ginder

James L. Ginder, 68, Camby, died Monday.

Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of Ralph and Camilla (Burris) Ginder.

A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a 1956 graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a charter member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Mooresville. He retired from Mayflower Transit after 35 years of service where he worked as a leasing and recovery agent.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia; five children, Teresa Cole and husband Curtis, Amy Timmerman and husband Harry, Sharon Day and husband Kirk, Steven Ginder and wife Angela, and Mary Caroline Ginder; brothers Fred Ginder and wife Arlene, and Gerard Ginder and wife Loma; sister Nancy Young, and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Brick Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Friday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral home, Greencastle.
