Robert Denny Sr.

Robert Paul Denny Sr., 62, Greencastle, died Saturday.

Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of Avery and Charlotte (Denney) Denny.

He was a farmer and automotive mechanic, having worked at Cauldwell's Garage in Avon for five years.

Survivors include four children, Darlene Templeman and husband Chad, Greencastle, Bobbie Ann Lambert, Brooklyn, Bobby Denny Jr. and wife Shirley, Brownsburg, and Billy Denny and wife Trish, Cloverdale; a brother, Jimmy Denny and wife Vera, Spencer; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Betty Record, a great-grandson, sister Shirley Coomer and brothers Larry and Wilson Denny.

Arrangements are being handled by Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
