Mallettie Francis Dorsey, 75, Danville, died Monday night at her residence.

Born at LaGrange, Ky., she was the daughter of Hugh and Mattie (Pierce) Uhls.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church at Danville. She retired from H.E. Butt Grocery Co., San Antonio, Texas, after 20 years as a secretary. She had also owned two Dog and Suds in Indianapolis, and House of Mark in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Surviving are a son, Timothy Dorsey, Indianapolis; three daughters, Linda Montgomery and husband Robert, Plainfield, Mary Skelton and husband Stanley, Covington, and Rebecca Filiatreu, Indianapolis; a brother, Carl Uhls, Russellville; four sisters, Lois Layson and husband Dave, Indianapolis, DeShea Villoch and husband Julio, Odem, Texas, Joyce Norris and husband Virgil, Fillmore, and Rebecca Boller, Harrisburg, Va.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Phyllis Green and a great-grandson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, with Pastor Phil Bilyeu officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery, Russellville.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
