Putnam County Chaplin Steve Williams invited Elaine Hoffman's class from Peace Lutheran Church to re-enact parts from the musical "Mary Had a Little Lamb" by Dan Barker Wednesday at the hospital

This musical, which is a telling of the Christmas story from stable animals' point-of-view, was first performed at the church Tuesday night.

The cast consisted of Mary, played by Lillie Vaughn, and Jospeh, played by Matthew Malone.

Josh Metcalf played the narrator of the tale, while Elizabeth Brush played Tiny, the spotted lamb, and Megan Parks played the wise "man."

Playing the parts as the stable animals were Cassidy Spackman as the mother cow, Rachel Sutherlin as a little pig, Kayden Wheeler, Shelby Frazier and Andy Sutherlin as the sheep, Meredith Mock as a donkey and Alexander Briones, Elijah Parks and Luke Thomas as the camels.

This is just one of the special services Willaims said he offers to the hospital employees.
