John P. Nagel

John P. Nagel, 99, Greencastle, formerly of Palatine, Ill., died Tuesday morning at his residence.

Born in Eagle River, Wis., he was the son of Christian and Angela (Daum) Nagel.

He married Elizabeth (Bausch) Nagel, and she survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, LaVergne Blaikie and husband Joe, Bainbridge; sons Dr. Norman Nagel and wife Carol, Camarillo, Calif., and John P. Nagel and wife Marge, Carol Stream, Ill.; brother Carl Nagel and wife Nina, Chicago; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ted and sister Rose.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine, Ill. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Ceme-tery, Arlington Heights, Ill.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday.
