Cloverdale girls knock off Shakamak

JASONVILLE -- The Cloverdale High School girls' basketball team improved to 12-7 on the season Tuesday after knocking off Shakamak on the road, 51-43.

The Clovers held the Lakers to only six points in the second quarter while scoring 10 en route to the win.

Cloverdale had a 27-17 lead by halftime. .

Ashley Koos-man led the Clovers with 13 points while Kristin McCammon added 11.

Heather Moon also had eight poitns while Chelsie Haltom finished with six. Elizabeth Cheatham and Hannah Monnett rounded out Cloverdale's scoring with five points.

The Clovers (12-7) will face Speedway at home on Friday, beginning at 6 p.m., in their final regular season game of the season.
