Marvin D. Arnold

Marvin D. Arnold, 70, Greencastle, died Thursday at Hickory Creek at Sunset Nursing Home, Greencastle.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Lloyd F. and Jenanetta (Gasaway) Arnold. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

He worked for IBM and was also a truck driver for Schwerman Trucking for several years.

Survivors include sister Linda L. Wheeler and husband Jack, Cloverdale; brother Edward A. Arnold and wife Patricia, Longmont, Colo.; two nieces, one nephew and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday at Fillmore Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. There will be no visitation.

Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
