Lois Fern Harrah

Lois Fern Harrah, 88, Cloverdale, died Sunday at Millpond Health Campus.

Born in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Howard and Jessie (O'Conner) Appleby.

She was a graduate of Cloverdale High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hazelwood Baptist Church.

She married Samuel Dale Harrah in 1955. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2003.

Survivors include daughter Marsha Smith and husband Michael, Gosport; and one nephew.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cloverdale Cemetery with Rev. Wes McClure officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.
