Thomas Keith Stringer

Thomas Keith Stringer, 68, Greencastle, died Monday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Eugene and Ruby (Moore) Stringer.

He was a 1954 graduate of Greencastle High School.

He had been a barber in Greencastle for 38 years and previously worked at Handy's Dairy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 1592, Eastern Star, Putnam County Shrine Club, the York Rite, and the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Greencastle.

He married Nancy Ann Flint on Oct. 18, 1959. She survives.

Additional survivors include his mother Ruby B. Stringer, Greencastle; an aunt and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, and daughter Lisa Thies.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor David Neely officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Masonic funeral rites at 7 p.m.
