Pauline A. Anderson, 81, Ellettsville, formerly of Gosport, died Monday at Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington.

Born in Danville, she was the daughter of Forrest and Beula (Westerfield) Courtney.

She was an assembly line worker for RCA, Bloomington.

She was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Carp, and the O.E.S. No. 151, Ivanhoe Chapter, Gosport.

She married Harold J. "Andy" Anderson on April 16, 1945. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1986.

Survivors include daughters Rebecca Richards and husband Carl, Medina, Ohio, Sheila Hardesty and husband Ron, Worthington, Pam Forsyth and husband Larry, Ft. Myers, Fla., and Janet Faller and husband James, Boca Raton, Fla.; sons Kenneth Anderson and wife Karen, Poland, and James R. "Rick" Anderson, Ft. Myers, Fla.; brother Paul Courtney, Danville; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two grandchildren.

Services will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Rev. Richard Poff officiating. Burial will be at Hudson Hill Cemetery, Gosport.

Visitation is from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
