William Alan "Willie" Bartley, 23, Greencastle, died Sunday as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Tony Anthony "Pops" and Mary (Sage) Bartley.

He attended Greencastle schools.

He had worked at Richmond Guttering in Indianapolis for three years and previously worked at L&B Guttering in Clayton for two years.

He was a member of the Greencastle Gold Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Monica Bartley, Tell City; his parents Mary Bartley, Greencastle, and Tony "Pops" Bartley and fiancee Debra, Indianapolis; two brothers, Brian Bartley, Greencastle, and Maxx Bartley, North Carolina; sister Lucy Bartley, North Carolina; fiancee Amanda Fader, Greencastle; grandparents Marlin and Jean Bartley, Greencastle, and Fran and Bill Miller, Cloverdale; great-grandparents Peggy Ford, Cloverdale, and Mary Bartley, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by "Pap" Ralph Rogers, great-grandfather Harvey Ford, great-grandparents Charles and Helen Sage, and grandfather Tony Sage.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Chapel Cemetery, Belle Union.

Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
