Marilynn Lee Colvin, 85, Paris, Ill., died Saturday at Paris Community Hospital.

Born in Canton, Ill., she was the daughter of Mathias and Addie Haben.

She was a homemaker and had also worked several years as a telephone operator and at Zenith in Paris, Ill.

She married Walter Q. "Barney" Colvin on March 2, 1941, in Bowling Green, Mo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 14, 1993.

Survivors include three sons John Colvin and wife Jerri, Bainbridge, Robert E. Colvin and wife Georgia, Paris, Ill., and Matt Colvin, Paris, Ill.; daughter Christie Mueller and husband Al, Abingdon, Va.; sister Margaret Brengle, Spokane, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, brother Bob Haben, sister Lois Hammond, two infant granddaughters and one infant great-grandson.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at Templeton Funeral Home, Paris, Ill., with Jim Blue officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
